Chef Scrafs
Chef Scrafs
Function first. Heritage always. The one accessory that completes the brigade look.
Long before it became a style statement, the chef scarf earned its place in the professional kitchen as a piece of working equipment. Worn around the neck and tied at the front, it does three things that no other part of the uniform does: it absorbs perspiration from the neck and jaw during long, hot service, it shields the skin from the radiant heat of stoves, ovens, and overhead heat lamps, and it prevents sweat from dripping onto food or uniform at critical moments during plating and service. These are practical problems with a practical solution โ and the chef's scarf has been solving them for over a century.
